The Aging in the Right Place Vancouver team hosted a powerful World Caf茅 session focused on co-creating housing solutions for older adults. With a fantastic turnout of community partners, policymakers, researchers, and lived experts, the room was full of conversation.
Together, we explored what it truly means to age in the right place and how we can collectively shape safe, secure, and equitable housing options that reflect the needs of vulnerable older adults.
The event also featured a photovoice and digital storytelling exhibit, sparking deep, meaningful dialogue and reminding us why this work matters.
The team sat down with attendees to hear their biggest takeaways. From personal stories to policy insights, these reflections highlight the urgent need for more inclusive, age-friendly housing solutions.
