Elvy Del Bianco
As the Director for Cooperative & Government Relations at the British Columbia Co-operative Association, Elvezio (鈥淓lvy鈥�) Del Bianco builds partnerships with co-ops, allied trade unions, post-secondary institutions and other civil society organizations, and all levels of government to realize a strong enabling environment for the development and growth of cooperative enterprises. Elvezio has almost 20 years鈥� experience in the cooperative sector, as a consultant and as Vancity Credit Union鈥檚 Cooperative Portfolio Manager. While at Vancity, and in partnership with the University of Bologna, Elvezio organized numerous study tours exploring the cooperative economy of the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy, whose highly networked approach informs the development of British Columbia鈥檚 sector.
