Biography
Manuel is a physical geographer and Senior Researcher with more than 30 years of professional experience. His research involves spatial planning and natural resources management based on geomorphological, hydrological, dendrochronological, and landscape ecology knowledge, based on the intensive use of remote sensing products, GIS, and statistical techniques. This research contributes to solving problems of adequate land use at several geographic scales.
