Recently retired as manager of a niche specialty insurance company regional office in Vancouver, Darlene McBride is known for expertise in underwriting, sales and service. She now focuses her time on educating insurance and risk management professionals through ´óÏó´«Ã½, BCIT and the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Darlene brings to her teaching over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, working with brokers, general lines insurers, MGAs and risk managers. Her roles have included business development, sales, management, HR and marketing.

Darlene holds a CIP designation, as well as Canadian Risk Management (CRM) and RIMS Fellowship (RF) designations, and she is an associate member of the BC Risk & Insurance Management Association.
