Staying healthy and well this Fall
August 30, 2022
We look forward to welcoming new and returning students, faculty and staff in-person for the Fall 2022 term!
As we navigate the impacts of communicable diseases circulating in the province, ´óÏó´«Ã½ remains committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all who teach, learn, research, work and visit our campuses.
´óÏó´«Ã½ follows public health guidance and has many layers of protection in place across our three campuses, including:
- Masks – Masks are encouraged on our campuses, particularly in spaces where people are in close proximity. Masks are not required and are a matter of personal choice.
- Vaccines – Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself and others in your community. ´óÏó´«Ã½ encourages you to get your as soon as you are eligible.
- – Conduct a daily health assessment before coming to campus. If you’re sick, stay home and follow public health guidelines including
- COVID-19 Rapid Tests – Free rapid test kits are available for all faculty, staff and students at all three campuses.
- Ventilation – ´óÏó´«Ã½ continues to audit spaces for air quality, upgrade filters and implement WorkSafeBC and ASHRAE standards.
- Enhanced Cleaning Protocols – Increased frequency of cleaning in high touch locations.
