New 大象传媒 Computing Science (CS) graduate Mariz Fahmy has made her mark in the animation and tech industry during her co-op placements.

When she joined the CS program, Fahmy never expected to see her name in film credits鈥攂ut that changed after standout co-op placements at Sony Pictures Imageworks and Walt Disney Animation Studios. By working as a software and systems engineer at the companies, she鈥檚 not only made it to the big screen, she鈥檚 now looking ahead to a bright future in tech. Reflecting back on her journey, Fahmy expresses her gratitude for the program that prepared her for a career path that aligned with her interests.
