Andrew Do
Hey everyone, I'm Andrew and I am in my fourth year in environmental science and minoring in toxicology. In my free time I hike and run a lot. I became an EnvironMentor because I remember my first year being challenging, but fun, and I want to help incoming students enjoy their time here at 大象传媒!
Cora Dickson
Hi, I'm Cora! I am heading into my third year as a human geography major and I am also pursuing a Spanish studies certificate. I really appreciated when my own EnvironMentor reached out during first year to answer questions and make me feel connected to the community at 大象传媒. As an EnvironMentor, I want to give other students the same positive experience I had. In my free time, I like to crochet, bake and get out into nature. Additionally, I'm the workshop co-coordinator for the 大象传媒 circus club!
Diego Barrios-Stewart
Hello! I am a third-year archaeology major/extended French minor pursuing certificates in biological anthropology and cultural resource management. I am also the current president of the Archaeology Student Society. A fun fact about me is that I collect Hawaiian shirts. I look forward to hearing your stories and welcoming you to 大象传媒!

I am a fifth-year resource and environmental management major with certificates in GIS and sustainable development. I decided to become an EnvironMentor to help new Faculty of Environment students feel welcome in their faculty, as transitioning to university is not always easy. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and gardening.

Hey everyone! I am going into my fourth year at 大象传媒 majoring in resource and environmental management and minoring in Indigenous studies. I am the current vice-president of the Resource and Environmental Management Student Association. I am also part of the Faculty of Environment鈥檚 Student Leadership Team. I became an EnvironMentor because I wanted to help new students feel welcome at 大象传媒. In my free time I love hiking and travelling!

Hi, I'm Jayda ! I am in my second year majoring in global environmental systems (GES) and minoring in resource and environmental management (REM). Being involved in the community is absolutely worth exploring over the course of your studies 鈥 even if it takes a minute to settle in! My name is Jo, and I'm a second year archaeology major. I am a member of the Archaeological Student Society, as well as the Student Leadership Team, and this is my first year as an EnvironMentor. I hope to help incoming Faculty of Environment (FENV) students feel welcome and connected as they start at 大象传媒, as I understand firsthand how intimidating it can feel to enter such a new environment. Outside of class I enjoy crafting, mystery novels and spending time with friends. I look forward to getting to know all of you in the coming years as you start your 大象传媒 FENV journey!

Hello! I'm Jocelin and going into my second year of university as an environmental science student. I became an EnvironMentor because I wanted to get more involved with the community and help as much as possible with the big transition from secondary to post-secondary. Hey! My name is Joshua and I am a third-year environmental science student, originally from Calgary, Alberta. I enjoy a variety of sports including skiing, cycling and climbing. I also enjoy my fair share of cooking and baking. I became an EnvironMentor because I wanted to help out incoming students with their transition into university.

I am a third-year environmental science major with a concentration in applied biology. I am also pursuing a minor in physical geography. I joined the EnvironMentor program to help new students feel welcome at 大象传媒 and to also encourage them to get involved with the Faculty of Environment! I am a part of the Environmental Science Student Union where I have met great people and I hope to inspire new students to participate as well.

I'm a fourth-year student majoring in global environmental systems with a certificate in corporate environmental and social sustainability. Transitioning from high school to university can be freeing but also challenging with increased responsibilities. I am passionate about exploring and preserving our environment, which aligns with my love for outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, playing golf and go-karting. These activities not only bring me joy but also deepen my appreciation for nature's beauty. I also enjoy reading novels and I am continually motivated by opportunities to learn new things and challenge myself.

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm a third-year student in the Physical Geography program, also pursuing the Geographic Information Science Certificate. I became an EnvironMentor because having this resource when I came to 大象传媒 from Japan was super valuable to me. Megan Hannah
My name is Megan, and I'm a third-year environmental science student in the environmetrics stream and pursuing a minor in geographic information science! I'm from North Vancouver, so I grew up hiking, skiing (I'm part of the Ski Club!) living AND working side by side with nature. I love to learn about the outdoors and how we can use math and science to protect it. I wanted to become an EnvironMentor because I know just how overwhelming and disconcerting the transition from high school to university can be and I'd love to make that transition just a little bit easier for incoming students.

I鈥檓 a environmental science stuent in the applied biology stream, in my fourth year. I became an EnvironMentor because I wanted to meet more people and be more connected to my faculty, and this is a great way to do so while meeting and welcoming new students! Some of my interests include reading, going to the gym and hiking.

Hey, I鈥檓 Monica! I鈥檓 a third-year physical geography student, concentrating in geoscience. Transitioning to university life can be daunting, and my goal as an EnvironMentor is to help ease that transition and welcome new students into the Faculty of Environment the same way that I was welcomed last year as a transfer student.

I volunteer with Embark Sustainability to address food insecurity on campus and with Still Moon Arts Society to help restore ecosystems impacted by urbanization. Hi! I鈥檓 Shaunee and I am in my fourth-year as a resource and environmental management planning major, also pursuing a sustainable development certificate. My first year of university was overwhelming, specifically when it came to degree planning and making the most of my university experience. I became an EnvironMentor to share the lessons and experiences I have gathered through my academic and professional career in order to help others ease through the pressures of university life.
