Volunteer: Cardiovascular Health Educators

REACH is a community health centre located in the Grandview-Woodlands community for over 50 years and strives to be more than a doctor鈥檚 office by having an in house pharmacy, dental clinic, multicultural family centre, Urgent and Primary Care centre, and community outreach.

Since last August, REACH has been running monthly Healthy Heart workshops to educate our community members on cardiovascular diseases, provide basic screening for cardiovascular health such as checking their blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and providing important education on how community members can take charge of their health by adjusting their life style to support a healthy heart.
