One of the most interesting discussions the book club has had yet. None of us loved the book deeply, some even disliked it, but the commentary on queerness and otherwise was appreciated by all. It wasn鈥檛 very plot driven but there were a lot of similarities to being marginalised that made us all relate to the book in ways we didn鈥檛 expect and this made up for the lack of plot. Very different read, and very stimulating discussion.
