Course Specific Information:
TAs will be responsible for providing feedback on lab reports and should demonstrate the ability to support team-based learning in a laboratory setting. TAs should have a background in immunology, molecular or cell biology, or a related discipline. Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and basic cell culture techniques is expected, and familiarity with FlowJo and GraphPad Prism is strongly preferred.
TAs are expected to complete EHS lab safety training, attend orientation, assist during all scheduled class sessions, and provide support via 大象传媒 Canvas.

Many departments include a wide range of specializations and, in order to be appointed, a person must have sufficient knowledge of the course to interpret the course material. Qualifications for the TA/TM positions in HSCI courses include experience with course subject matter obtained either via successful coursework completed in the area or direct practical experience. Course subject matter can be found described in the 大象传媒 fall calendar.
Qualified TAs/TMs will also have demonstrated proficiency in English communication skills, both oral and written.

POSITION SUMMARY
The BC NEIHR is seeking for three full-time or part-time regionally-based Indigenous Research Liaison in BC. POSITION SUMMARY
Climate change and geopolitical tensions continue to create unprecedented challenges for the Boreal forest and northern BC communities. Wildfires are increasingly prevalent, and even overwintering, changing forest ecology and presenting health and livelihood risks to community members. Simultaneously, invasive species and tariffs threaten the viability of the forestry industry in BC. Taken together, these compounding challenges require new approaches to forest and wildfire management, health promotion, and economic development. We are looking for a motivated student to join our interdisciplinary team as a research assistant to support an exploratory study that will convene a series of dialogues across northern BC communities on the future of forests. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with three faculty leads across two universities to build relationships with relevant stakeholders and Indigenous rightsholders, and support the planning, logistics and implementation of several public dialogues on these and related topics. POSITION SUMMARY
A full-time Research Coordinator is needed to work on the project titled 鈥淒eriving Normative 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Data Among South Asian Children (ASHA)鈥. This is an entry level coordinator position, and the study is a collaborative project with the Population Health Research Institute at McMaster University. The ASHA study鈥檚 objective is to establish normal height-sex and normal age and sex-specific reference values of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring among South Asian children.
