Abstract: Abstract: Our dominant romantic paradigm for love centers happiness: we talk of successful relationships being "happy ever after," or of being "happy with someone" if things are going well. I argue that we need a paradigm more accommodating of the full range of human emotional life, including both the "positive" and "negative."
Talk will be held at the Burnaby Campus in room WMC 3260 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
