Professor Leith Davis receives SSHRC Partnership Engage Grant

We are happy to announce that Professor Leith Davis has received a SSHRC Partnership Engage Grant for the project: 鈥淓ngaging Public and Academic Audiences to Recover Lost Voices of Scottish History: 'The Lyon in Mourning' Manuscript and the Jacobite Networks of the 1745 Rising.鈥�
This means there is now an official collaboration between our Scottish Studies Centre, 大象传媒's Digital Humanities Innovation Lab and the National Library of Scotland that will allow us to:
- Continue with the TEI encoding of the 鈥淟yon in Mourning鈥�
- Hire a research student who is Edinburgh-based to do work on our behalf in the National Library of Scotland鈥檚 archives
- Construct an interactive website
- Mobilize important community research
