Examine the characteristics of forest ecosystems and disturbances pertinent to North America. Evaluate tools of forest management for a variety of ecological, economic, social, and cultural objectives. Assess challenges and opportunities in the management of British Columbia鈥檚 forests including sources of conflict regarding their conservation and use.
