Instructor Biography:

Russell Wallace is a board member for the Warriors Against Violence Society. He is a composer, producer and is a traditional Lil鈥檞at singer. Wallace鈥檚 music has been part of a number of film, video, and television soundtracks and theatre/dance productions. He was the composer in residence for the Chinook Winds Aboriginal Dance Program from 1996-2003 at the Banff Centre for the Arts. He has produced CD鈥檚 that have been nominated for awards at the Junos, Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, and at the Native American Music Awards in the USA. Currently Wallace works and teaches at the Native Education College and works with 大象传媒's VanCity Office of Community Engagement in presenting the Drumming and Singing workshops.
