Founders Circle

Hosted by Chang Institute Mentor-in-Residence and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Assistant Professor of Practice Doug Fast, the Founders Circle is a great place for innovators of all experience levels to dive into entrepreneurial ideas, successes, and failures. With assigned podcasts and reading, you'll hear and discuss inspirational stories from some of business’ greats.

These weekly sessions offer the perfect space to develop your core entrepreneurial skills, apply them to your business or idea, and network with Chang Institute startup teams!

The Summer 2025 series will feature: 

  • Fireside chats with founders at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey 
  • Book-club style discussions on "" by Jake Knapp    
  • A supportive group of like-minded individuals

Why you should "sprint" this summer:

  • The Sprint book is one of the most practical and action-oriented tools out there for early-stage entrepreneurs
  • In just 5 days, you'll walk (or sprint!) through the framework used by hundreds of successful startups (including many in our Chang Institute Incubator) to test their business idea and propel forward with a clear vision and strategy
  • The best part? You won't be sprinting alone. Join these weekly meetings to sprint with a peer community of early-stage entrepreneurs

Founders Circle meetings run on Mondays (except stat holidays) 3-4pm until August 25th, 2025. The sessions will resume in the Fall 2025 semester by mid-September.
