CommuniCreate is a program to help newcomer youth improve their English communication ability in order to promote success in their everyday lives as well as in their academic performance. The team wants to teach youth practical life skills through hands-on activities and roleplaying and create a safe and enjoyable experience for newcomer youth to promote engagement, creativity, confidence and connection. The Oral History Crew

A project to create an exhibit highlighting the contributions of lesbians in the women鈥檚 movements in the 1970s and 80s as a means to mark both the fiftieth anniversary of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women (1970) and the fiftieth anniversary of the partial dis-crimination of same-sex acts (1969). Stick With Me (Ecuador)

This project invites women who were born in rural parts of Ecuador and migrated to Quito, the country鈥檚 capital city, to participate in workshops to create collective collages depicting different aspects of their lived experiences, with emphasis on their migration histories, health and wellbeing. A project to implement the KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE), an experiential teaching tool based on participatory education methodologies and employing Indigenous practices to build awareness and understanding of the shared histories of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Read more
