The Vehicle Track Interaction (VTI) research group at 大象传媒 currently has an opening for one new M.A.Sc. student, ideally starting in January 2026. Statements of interest and CVs can be sent directly to koldknow@sfu.ca. 

In addition to meeting all 大象传媒 and SEE graduate admission requirements (which can be found at the links below), key qualifications include:

• Commitment to an inclusive, diverse and equitable team based working environment
• A demonstrably strong interest in railway related research
• Strong skills and experience in simulation and data analysis, in particular using tools such as Matlab and Python
• Good hands-on experimental lab skills and experience
• Ideally, practical experience in railway and/or other transportation systems 

Please note that (due to time constraints), prospective students will only be contacted when there is a promising alignment with an available research position in the group.
