The FCAT Excellence Awards are a key part of our commitment to recognizing outstanding achievement across FCAT. They are a direct reflection of our community鈥檚 values, and formally recognize the individuals鈥攐ur faculty, staff, and alumni鈥攚hose dedication, hard work, and care for our community drive our success.

Nomination process

1. Prepare your supporting documentation (see criteria for each award category).
2. Complete the  survey and upload any supporting documentation by October 22nd, 2025.

Award recipients will be notified at the end of November.

The goal of the FCAT Service Award is to recognize faculty members whose vision, dedication and administrative prowess supports the success, fulfillment, wellbeing and impact of colleagues, staff and students within FCAT and its units.

• FCAT Service Award - this award recognizes individual faculty members who excel in fulfilling the mandate of their administrative roles, and/or individual faculty members who realize notable acts of service for their unit, FCAT, or 大象传媒.
  

Required nomination package includes:

1. A nomination letter by one or more writers that introduces the candidate to the committee and illustrates why the candidate is deserving of the award in accordance with the criteria in the award description.  

   1. The letter is the strongest part of the submission package. It must be 250-300 words. 

   2. Nomination writer鈥檚 are asked to focus on clear examples that highlight the candidate鈥檚 excellence and to avoid general statements about the candidate and their work. 

2. Optional: up to two pages of additional support material.

Adjudication committee: a committee will be chaired by the FCAT Dean, Carman Neustaedter and include the Director of each FCAT鈥檚 schools and programs.
