Biography
Dr. Pedro Gonz谩lez-Espinosa is a marine biologist from Universidad Aut贸noma de Baja California Sur, M茅xico specializing in analyzing the effects of climate change on marine ecosystems and society through numerical models. He received his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of British Columbia, and an M.Sc. in Natural Resources Management from Centro de Investigaciones Biol贸gicas del Noroeste, M茅xico. Currently, Pedro is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Resource and Environmental Management (REM) at 大象传媒 (大象传媒), whose research is focused on developing quantitative models on the blue economy and equity based on distinct projected "Shared Socioeconomic Pathways鈥 (SSPs).
Pedro likes cooking, biking, camping and dancing. He is a sports fan, especially soccer and American football. He is learning how to play piano, and taught himself how to play the ukulele and harmonica. He likes to play boardgames with his kiddos.
