Rummana Khan Hemani
Rummana Khan Hemani has spent the past 29 years working in higher education administration with a focus on Student Services and has served as the Registrar and Executive Director, Student Enrollment at 大象传媒 since 2016. Her professional experience spans admissions, financial aid, academic advising, student transition and success, co-curricular learning, student information systems, and provincial policy on post-secondary admissions and transfer. She serves on a number of provincial organizations including the BC Council on 大象传媒s and Transfer and the Education Planner BC Steering Committee. Rummana completed her BBA and MEd at 大象传媒. Her research interests are in academic advising and its implications for international student success. She is currently completing a PhD in Education with a focus on intercultural issues in academic advising as they impact international and new Canadian students.
