Processing times for study permit applications can vary depending on where you apply from and how complete your application is. To check the most up-to-date estimated processing time for your region, visit .

  • Processing time begins once your application is complete, including biometrics, medical exams (if required), and all supporting documents.
  • There are no formal options to request expedited processing for study or work permits.
  • Post-secondary institutions, including ´óÏó´«Ã½, cannot intervene with IRCC or request faster processing on your behalf.
