Board Submission Instructions
Faculty, staff, students, alumni and members of the public are all invited to engage with the Board of Governors.
To see what is on the agenda for an upcoming Board meeting, you can visit the Meeting Agendas, Minutes and Reports page. Agendas are typically released one week before the Board meeting.
Please note that while the Board Chair will carefully consider all proposals for agenda items and speaking requests, due to time constraints, only a limited number will be slotted on the Board agenda. For more information about speaking to the board, please see the guidelines for attendees.

If you would like to propose a new agenda item, please submit a completed Board Agenda Item Proposal Template to the Board Office at board_admin@sfu.ca at least four (4) weeks before the next Board meeting.
Your proposal for an agenda item will be reviewed by the Board Chair, and you will receive a response in advance of the Board meeting for which you are proposing the item.
The Board agenda proposal process is outlined below in more detail.
