Write a substantial paper (25-page) on a topic of your choice, supervised by a faculty member of your choosing.

Eligibility
- A 3.5 GPA in English and a 3.0 CGPA are required.
- Before applying to the honours program, complete ENGL 364: Literary Criticism: History, Theory, and Practice. It can be taken before or concurrently with English 494.

- Spring intake: November 15
- Fall intake: July 25
Please note that Honours Students must obtain 48 upper division Engl units; a minimum of 20 of these units (or five courses) must be at the 400 level, including Engl 494 and Engl 496. Honours students must also take Engl 364 concurrently with Engl 494 or beforehand.
