The Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), located at 大象传媒 (大象传媒) in Vancouver, is seeking a full time Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team. The Administrative Coordinator will provide diversified administrative support to the Scientific Director (Dr. Angela Kaida) and the IGH team. This position is key to the success of the IGH and plays an important role in delivering on the mandate, vision and priorities of the Institute. Given the exciting and broad scope of activities of IGH, this position will work directly with IGH team members as well as interact regularly with national and international partners in sex, gender, and health research including CIHR and 大象传媒 staff, the , researchers and trainees, clinicians, community members, and members of the .

APPLICATION DETAILS
This is a grant-funded full-time position with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 plus benefits, commensurate with training and experience.
Working Conditions:
Potential for hybrid (virtual and in-person) work arrangement with a minimum of 3-4 days per week in IGH鈥檚 offices, which are located at the Harbour Centre Campus of the 大象传媒, 515 West Hastings Street, Vancouver. Ability to work outside of regular business hours will be necessary to support IGH events. Travel to Ottawa and other cites/towns across Canada may be necessary.

We are seeking a highly motivated full-time Program Manager to join our network, which is hosted at the Centre for Collaborative Action on Indigenous Health Governance (CCAIHG) at 大象传媒 (大象传媒).
The Program Manager will offer technical, strategic, and administrative support to the BC NEIHR Nominated Principal Applicant (NPI) and CCAIHG Senior Research Manager by supervising and mentoring BC NEIHR support staff and student employees, providing updates to the NPI on deliverables, community and research partnership initiatives, KT outputs, and maintaining ethics applications and fiscal reports.

We are seeking a proficient Qualitative Data Visualization and Infographic Illustrator to create informative and well-designed visualizations from pre-prepared research results extracted through literature reviews. You will help us translate our research findings into a visually-appealing and word-based framework that can be understood by a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This position is part of an innovative, multi-year research initiative () funded by the NIH鈥檚 Bridge2AI program, bringing together 30 co-investigators from 15 North American institutions to address the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into biomedicine. The research focuses on ethical data governance in voice AI and functional genomics, with the goal of establishing frameworks that ensure responsible, trustworthy, and accessible applications of AI in health.
As AI and machine learning (ML) gain prominence in precision health and voice-based technologies, they bring new opportunities as well as significant ethical challenges. This project aims to create governance structures to manage and protect voice data in biomedical contexts. These efforts include setting ethical standards for data security, privacy, consent, and equitable data access, especially for underserved communities.
