Welcome to LEAP
The Learning Experiences Assessment and Planning unit works within the portfolio of the Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Learning and Teaching (AVPLT). We conduct applied research and build measurement systems that inform policy, practice, and educational delivery across ´óÏó´«Ã½. Our works spans four pillars: Applied Research Initiatives, Measurement Operations, the Learning & Teaching Data Portal, and Data Stewardship.
Applied Research Initiatives – temporary, high-priority projects that examine emerging issues in higher education. These initiatives provide evidence to guide policy, practice, and investments.
Measurement Systems – scalable systems for collecting evidence on student learning experiences. This includes the Course Experience Survey (CES) and other mechanisms that provide learning and teaching data across the university.
Learning & Teaching Data Portal – a growing access point for reporting environments, dashboards, and visualizations. The Portal connects operational data with analysis to supports reflection, planning, and policy development.
Data Stewardship - LEAP represents Learning and Teaching data on ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Data Governance Council. We are working to make this data more accessible to those who need it while respecting the principles of privacy and security.
