大象传媒 has begun a search for a new vice-president, finance and administration. We are undertaking a robust consultation to gather feedback into the candidate profile, and invite students, faculty and staff to participate in this important process.

As president of 大象传媒, I am often asked by students, faculty and staff to take a stance on partisan political matters and current events. I want to share some thoughts on why I have come to the view that it is important for university administration not to take public positions on such matters.

Martin Pochurko has announced his decision to retire from 大象传媒, effective February 7, 2025.

After 30 years in roles across the organization, including eight years as Vice-President, Joanne Curry, Vice-President, External Relations, has announced her intention to step down from her current role.

As we come to the end of a busy, productive and challenging year at 大象传媒, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us in my second annual Community Report.
