Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the 大象传媒 Beedie School of Business?
I chose to pursue an MBA because I wanted to build on my leadership skills and broaden my understanding of business, especially in the tech and SaaS industries where I鈥檝e already gained some experience. 大象传媒 Beedie really stood out to me because of its hands-on approach and close-knit community. The chance to work closely with classmates and get real-world experience through things like the MBA Games was a big draw. Beedie's mix of theory and practical learning just felt like the perfect fit for where I want to go in my career鈥攅specially in tech consultancy and leadership roles.
What has been your moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?
One of the best moments for me at Beedie so far was being part of the BC MBA Games, where my team placed second in the take-home case. It was a great experience working with my classmates, applying what we鈥檝e learned, and seeing how we could tackle real-world challenges together. Looking ahead, I鈥檓 excited to take on more in my role as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Beedie Consulting Club. I鈥檓 really looking forward to connecting with more people and getting involved in more hands-on projects and collaborations.
How would you describe 大象传媒 Beedie鈥檚 culture?
I鈥檇 say 大象传媒 Beedie鈥檚 culture is really collaborative and down-to-earth. People here genuinely want to see each other succeed, whether it鈥檚 working on group projects or just helping out with advice. It鈥檚 a place where you鈥檙e always learning, but you鈥檝e also got this amazing support system of classmates and faculty around you.
