Membership eligibility
Students
To be eligible for a Surrey Parks & Recreation Membership you need to be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student who is assessed the full Recreation & Athletics fee AND
- Registered in a minimum of 3 credits at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey campus or registered per term at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey campus
IMPORTANT NOTE:
´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey Memberships become available at the start of each term, on the first day of academic classes. Please wait until these dates to activate your membership.
You can only hold one campus recreation membership at the same time. If you prefer, you can choose to obtain an ´óÏó´«Ã½ Burnaby Recreation Membership instead of a Surrey Parks & Recreation Membership.
How To Obtain a ´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey Parks & Recreation Membership
COMPLETE LIABILITY WAIVER
- Log into your student account via .
- Click Complete your ´óÏó´«Ã½ Athletics & Recreation Waiver Now.
- Read and agree to the waiver.
- Waiver may take 24-48 hours to be added to the recreation system.
Register
- Log into the Recreation Web Portal at .
- Click the membership icon to view your eligible membership options.
- If you are eligible, an ´óÏó´«Ã½ Membership – Surrey City Pass option will be available to select.
- Select the eligible membership type and complete the registration process.
- A receipt verifying the transaction will be emailed to you
Activate
- Present your receipt and ´óÏó´«Ã½ ID Card to the staff at one of the below listed Surrey recreation centres.
- You will receive a Surrey Parks & Recreation ID Card to use at recreation centres throughout the municipality.
Renew
- Each term log into the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Recreation web portal at to renew your membership and visit a Surrey recreation centre to re-activate your Surrey Parks & Recreation ID Card.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey Parks & Recreation memberships are available on a 1-term basis (September-December | January-April | May-August) and become available to activate on the first day of academic classes.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey Parks & Recreation Membership provides access to City of Surrey operated fitness centres, pools, weight rooms, swim sessions and non-registered aquatics/fitness programs.

- Mondays: Basketball - 1:45-3:15pm
- Tuesdays: Badminton - 4:45-6:45pm
- Wednesdays: Soccer - 5:15-6:45pm
