大象传媒 Intramurals are a great way to get out and play a sport you love with your friends or make new ones. Intramurals are for everyone: students, staff/faculty, alumni, and community members. Lead your team to the championship game and have a great time in the process!

How to participate
大象传媒 Intramurals are open to all Students, Staff & Faculty with a valid Burnaby Campus Membership. To activate your membership please click here.
Community members must have a minimum of a 1 month membership to be eligible. (Day passes are not accepted)
Open Leagues: Teams are created without gender requirements. Players of any gender identity can participate together, and team composition is based on interest and skill level rather than gender ratios.
- Coed Leagues: Teams must follow specific gender ratio rules to ensure a balanced representation on the court or field. These requirements vary by sport, but generally ensure participation from players of different genders.
Register as a full team
Bring your friends and sign up as a team! (If needed, you can pick up extra players from the free agent list). During registration contact information for a Captain and Co-Captain are required.
Rec IM Leagues are FREE with valid membership. However, be sure to bring a physcial Credit Card (Mastercard or VISA) as is required for any IM Fines at the time of registration.
The minimum number of players required to play is 4-7 players, dependent upon the sport. Please see the sports code of conduct for more information.

Where:
Recreation Sports office in the Lorne Davies Complex, Central Gym Lobby
When:
Registration opens at the time of the specific league during the week of Monday, Sept 8th (e.g. Rec IM Basketball Open - registration starts at 3:30pm Tuesday, Sept 9th).
How the process works:
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. A Captain and Co-Captain are required to provide contact information during sign-up. Team fees (if applicable) are needed to confirm registration. A physcial Credit Card (Mastercard or VISA) is required for any IM Fines at the time of registration. Late registration is only accepted if the league is not full.
