We're supporting Indigenous health resurgence through medical education, research and partnerships guided by Indigenous communities, where traditional ways of knowing and Western medicine work together to achieve meaningful health outcomes determined by Indigenous peoples themselves.

Community-centred
partnerships
Partnership-driven learning, from knowledge integration to place-based practice
Our model of medical education and research is designed with communities and delivered in communities, through close collaboration with physicians, health professionals, B.C.'s health authorities, and Divisions of Family Practice BC, to ensure seamless integration between education and existing care systems, creating pathways from team-based learning to lasting community impact.
Research
Community-centred research that transforms primary care systems
Our research program is designed in collaboration with communities and conducted in partnership with health professionals, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and health-care organizations across B.C. This approach ensures that our findings directly strengthen primary care practice, medical education and health policy, creating evidence-based pathways from community needs to lasting system change.
