Primary Care. Primary Focus.

´óÏó´«Ã½'s School of Medicine is preparing a new generation of skilled physicians who reflect the communities they serve, with the clinical expertise and collaborative abilities to be outstanding primary care physicians.

Who we are

We're building a medical school where clinical excellence meets community connection. Based at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Surrey in the heart of the Fraser Salish region, we develop education, research and partnerships where community knowledge and the science of medicine intersect—preparing physicians who understand that the future of health care will be found in the places where people live, work and build their lives.

About the School

What we do

Our programs foster curiosity and continuous learning, developing physicians and educators through partnerships with, for, and in communities. We offer undergraduate medical education rooted in primary care for B.C. communities, postgraduate medical education designed to train community-oriented specialists who strengthen primary care, and faculty education and continuing professional development to advance the skills of practicing physicians.
